The ISC West 2018 conference and trade show will be held April 10 to 13 in Las Vegas, bringing together providers, customers, and other stakeholders in the physical, IT, and IoT security industry. As the event approaches, a number of exhibitors have announced they will demo biometrics offerings.

Matrix showcases facial recognition and other video products

Telecom and security solution provider Matrix will showcase its newly launched access control and time and attendance product with facial recognition technology for smartphone authentication at ISC West, as well as biometric door controllers.

Matrix will also demonstrate its IP cameras and its SATATYA SAMAS enterprise video management solution at the event.

Invixium unveils new multimodal authentication product

Invixium is unveiling its new IXM TITAN product at ISC West. IXM TITAN combines facial recognition with fingerprint or finger vein authentication for access control, time and attendance, video intercom and video surveillance applications.

“We engineered TITAN to be an iconic biometric product; beautiful enough to be installed in luxury homes and corporates, extremely rugged for installation in the harshest environments, technologically futuristic to be an IoT connected device and security-focused with its multimodal and multifactor authentication versatility. The introduction of IXM TITAN at ISC West is a milestone for Invixium as this marks our entry into North America with a plethora of biometric products and solutions,” says Shiraz Kapadia, CEO and President of Invixium.

BrainChip and Quantum demonstrate combined solution

BrainChip and Quantum have jointly announced the interoperability of their respective products, which the company says enables law enforcement and intelligence agencies to search huge amounts of video footage to identify objects or faces. The companies will demonstrate Quantum’s scale-out file system StorNext with BrainChip Studio’s AI-powered object search and facial classification algorithms at ISC West.

“We have been working in close cooperation with BrainChip and are pleased to have verified the interoperability of our products,” noted Wayne Arvidson, Vice President, Surveillance and Security Solutions, Quantum. “The combined Quantum and BrainChip solution delivers rapid forensic search with the economic benefits of multi-tiered storage.”

StoneLock to show off scalable enterprise access control solution

StoneLock will showcase its True Frictionless enterprise facial recognition access control solution, which provides 1:N matching for up to 20,000 users, at ISC West. True Frictionless is a combination of the StoneLock Pro device and the StoneLock Gateway.

“This year at ISC West, we are especially excited to demonstrate our near-infrared technology with our identity heatmap visualization exhibit,” said CEO and Co-Founder Colleen Dunlap. “Attendees will witness for themselves an accurate visual representation of how a StoneLock unit views their biometric identifiers, demonstrating our frictionless and privacy-centric approach to biometrics.”

OnSSI and partners share integrated video applications

OnSSI will showcase its Ocularis 5.5 Video Management Software (VMS) at ISC West, with in-booth demonstrations from several partners. ConvergenceTP integrates with Ocularis to provide information for emerging situation assessment by bringing video and data together for facial recognition, license plate recognition, and other security applications. The Aureus 3D AI face recognition software from CyberExtruder provides an automated identity management hub for organizations with both identification and verification requirements. Jemez Technology will demonstrate its Eagle-i Edge software analytics platform, and NetApp will demonstrate its E2800 and E5700 video storage solutions at OnSSI’s booth as well.

Verint announces enhancements to Situational Awareness Platform and VMS solution

Verint has announced the enhancement of its Situational Awareness Platform and Enterprise Video Management (VMS) solutions with rich analytics and new integration capabilities. The Verint Situational Awareness Platform enables users to analyze and correlate data from multiple sensors, such as video surveillance and biometrics for deeper insights into potential threats, business requirements, and customer preferences, the company says in the announcement. The enhanced products will be demonstrated at Verint’s ISC West booth.
